Taylor never meant to fall for anyone in 2023. Not when she was raising a two-year-old entirely on her own, building a tour that swallowed continents, and trying to stitch her heart back together between soundchecks. Evie was her whole world - clingy, chaotic, brilliant, and hers in every possible way. Her father drifted out long before Evie learned to say "mama," and Taylor learned to stand on her own two feet because there was no one else to do it. Every stop on the first leg of the Eras Tour was a blur of glitter, exhaustion, and toddler snacks crushed into carpet. Days were for rehearsals; nights were for rocking Evie to sleep in hotel rooms lit only by the glow of the city outside. Kansas City was supposed to be just another stop. Another show. Another sleepless night. Then one night turned into fate. It wasn't planned. It wasn't logical. It definitely wasn't in her carefully guarded rulebook. But one chance encounter in Kansas City sparked something she hadn't felt in years - something warm, something steady, something that made her remember she wasn't just a mom and a performer... she was a woman who could still feel butterflies. He wasn't supposed to matter, but he made Evie laugh like they'd known each other for years. And when her daughter looked at him like he was the sun finally coming out, Taylor felt her walls shift. Now she's caught between the roar of stadium crowds and the quiet possibility of a future she never dared to imagine. Because some nights you perform. And some nights... you fall. Kansas City was just a tour stop. Until it wasn't.

They gave her 100 days. Not a lifetime. Not even close. Just 100 days to fit in everything she'd never be ready to lose. Taylor hears it in a quiet hospital room, the kind that makes everything feel too real. Travis is there when the words land. He feels the world shift beneath him, but she doesn't break. She just goes still... and then decides. No one can know. No pity. No whispered sympathy. No one watching her like she's already gone. If these are her last days, she refuses to spend them being mourned. So she makes a list instead. Not something wild or impossible. Just small, meaningful moments. The kind people take for granted until time runs out. Watch the sunrise without checking the time. Dance in the kitchen at 2 a.m. Laugh until it hurts. Memorize the way he looks at me. Make sure he'll be okay. Travis hates it. Every part of him wants to fight, to tell someone, to fix something that can't be fixed. But he agrees to her one rule anyway: Pretend. Pretend they have forever. Pretend nothing is wrong. Pretend love isn't quietly counting down. So they keep living. Showing up. Smiling like nothing has changed. But behind closed doors, everything has. He watches her more closely. Holds her a little tighter. Starts counting days he never says out loud. And she lives louder in the smallest ways, holding onto every second like it matters. Because now, it does. But pretending doesn't last forever. The cracks start to show. The truth gets harder to hide. And Travis begins to fall apart, because loving her isn't the hardest part... Knowing he's going to lose her is. Still, they keep going. Through the list. Through the laughter. Through every moment they can hold onto. Because if they can't have forever... they'll take whatever time they have left. Even if it was never going to be enough. Almost Enough Time

Harlowe didn't mean to fall in love with Zoe- but when does anyone ever mean to fall in love? Somewhere between the costumes, and the dances, and the little touches backstage, Harlowe had let herself slip. Zoe was an older girl, with her portrait in pink feathers and pearls stretch across the outside of the club, but she never bit her tongue. She told Harlowe she was pretty and talented- she told Harlowe she was special- and after long enough Harlowe started believing her. Zoe could convince Harlowe to do anything. That's how everything changed. * * * "Why did you leave Saturday?" Zoe asked suddenly, her voice still warm and sedated like her body in Harlowe's lap. Harlowe chewed her bottom lip. She didn't like lying, but she was good at half truths. "My mom was blowing up my phone. She grounded me." She watched Zoe's features twist into something unpleasant, and Harlowe ran a finger over her cheek in vain, trying to smooth her frown. "You're eighteen." Zoe reasoned. Harlowe shrugged though. "I'm also trying not to get kicked out." "That's not fun." Zoe hummed after a minute, closing her eyes to savour the feeling of Harlowe's fingers twisting through her hair and the rain splattering at their toes.

The Bad girl is: - A major pain in the ass. - A Church girl. (Mind you still trying to get over that one.) - A showgirl. - The devil; reincarnated. - But she's also my angel; all because of one stupid deal. Colton Sanders is the geek; plain and simple. The guy that everyone ignores and the boy that likes it that way. So what happens when he sees the school's Bad girl Lilani Smithers in a white dress in front of a Church? Easy. He blackmails her. Lilani Smithers hates Colton and he's asking for one thing only; to help him get the girl he's been in love with since year five. So what happens when a Geek and a Bad girl mix? Well . . . there's the parties, the late night outs, the make-overs and the terrible lessons . . . as well as sheer loathing. God save Colton! Copyright © Jessica Jackson All rights reserved
