Shrek and Fiona have a magical life in a palace, far from where Shrek used to live. It was Fiona's idea to move, but ever since the move, they've been growing apart. Fiona has been arguing with Shrek more and more, and Shrek has been avoiding her. He goes to his job and works overtime to get a break from her. More and more they grow apart, and as time goes by, Shrek finds out why. This sparks a mystery about Fiona. This angers Shrek, causing them to spread apart even more. Shrek becomes curious, and this is how he finds not only the truth about Fiona, but the truth about himself.
