A play of why you shouldn't do shrooms and other drugs.

Two girls, 6 and 8, meet at a Boys and Girls club. They instantly bond unknowingly due to trauma from sexual abuse. As inseparable as they became, life would soon separate them. They'd go on to get married, have kids and struggle to see beyond the shitty cards life dealt them. Nearly 30 years later, Nancie and Stevie began to experience some very hurtful trials. As they worked on themselves individually, God connected them again. In depth conversations, reading, writing and exploring... these two women turned their deck of cards into knowledge and discovered tools to understand life better. Join them on their journey from prison time, dealing with narcissistic mothers, becoming sex workers, several traumatic relationships, having money, being broke and homeless; to becoming business owners and the mothers they never had, unpacking trauma, and learning to love themselves at all stages in life. Life gets better if you let it.

An acid trip. Fun, right? All Lissa wanted was to show Caden that she wasn't as good as he thought, and maybe hallucinate about dragons in the kitchen or grinning cats in Wonderland. Little did she know she would start liking a new band, wanting to fly, thinking deep thoughts about theoretical physics, and admitting her feelings to the guy who's sure to crush them. Side note: I've never done acid or any type of drugs so I had to do a lot of research for this short story and I hope it's realistic.

A collection that covers a wide variety of topics, yet I try to make it seem at least a little cohesive. Some of these are pretty wild. Lots of madness and death and end-of-the-world-type shit going on. I can't imagine why that kinda stuff has been on my mind lately...
