She had been so close.
Standing at the very front of the cashier, money in hand and heart full of hope, she believed this was finally her moment. Months of waiting, endless countdowns, and quiet dreams all led to that single step forward.
"Sold out."
The word shattered everything.
She left the SMtickets.. the rest of the fans were sad too.. as they walk away.. Outside, (Name) she sank onto a bench, staring blankly ahead, trying to swallow the disappointment she refused to cry out loud.
That was when a voice broke the silence.
"Why are you sad, miss?"
She looked up-and met a pair of eyes she knew far too well. Hidden behind a facemask, familiar yet impossible, those eyes held a warmth she had only ever seen through a screen.
"U-uhm..." she murmured.
"I ran out of ticket for the concert I was looking forward to..."
He listened carefully, then spoke again, gentle and calm.
"Cheer up, miss. By the way... what concert were you buying tickets for?"
"...Seventeen," she answered quietly.
For a brief moment, the world seemed to pause.
"Perfect timing," he said, his eyes curving into a smile. "I still have some."
And just like that, what began as the worst day of her year became the start of a story she never imagined she'd be part of.
