Shuichi Saihara, just a normal kid with a normal life. Until well, one day on a fishing trip with some of his friends. What he sees that day, who he saves that day, changes his normal life forever, and there's no way he would have it different. Also I don't curse, sorry. I'll just replace the words with silly thing like "WHAT THE FISH SALTED IN CHEESE DID YOU SAY YOU UGLY DOOR HANDLE" or whatever my heart desires🤭 I don't own any of the characters. All character go to the creators of danganronpa. TW: I will add these if I desire to make u all cry. But I want this to be more cute so maybe I will be nice. MAYBE. Be warned.

V3 may not have ended the way Team Danganronpa had Hoped, but the Despair they were feeling would only lead to an even brighter Hope down the road. After all, they still had one last Ultimate Weapon up their sleeves.

Kokichi finds himself spending more time with the boy shuichi. Although that girl, Kaede, is getting in his way..

Shuichi gets sent to a new school by his transphobic parents. The school is branded as a conversion camp specifically for trans kids where they can also get an education over the school year. In truth it's just a super accepting school where trans kids can get away from their parents until they turn 18. Any "proper" research can find this information out. During his time at the school Shuichi makes some good friends and overall has a fun, interesting, and somewhat awkward time trying to balance his gender identity, his unaccepting parents, his old friends outside of school, his new friends inside of school, and this one weird kid who no one seems to know anything about. I have decided to try writing a real fanfiction for once as I have not done so in a while. Still working out some kinks but here's a little info: Shuichi: Trans male (he/him) Kokichi: Trans demiboy (he/they) Rantaro: Trans male (he/him) Kiibo: Agender (they/he) Kaede: Cis female (she/her) Maki: Cis female (she/her) Kaito: Cis male (he/they/star) Also Kiibo is a human. ⚠️Trigger warning: Frequent transphobia; frequent cursing (probably) (idk I just tend to curse a lot) The story cover isn't my art. UPDATES ONCE A WEEK Shuichi Saihara is a depressed teenaged prodigy, living in Tokyo and spiraling deeper into a hole of detective work and loneliness, who just wants to find somebody to love- or even just talk to. Kaede Akamatsu- A cheerful famous pianist who's an inspiration to him. Kokichi Ouma- A teasing perpetrator who keeps getting brought in for minor crimes. Kaito Momota- A confident and supportive friend from highschool. Keebo Idabashi- A clueless new detective assigned to work with Shuichi on a big new case that could change everything.

ah yes, trying a angst plot. this story will contain spoilers on reflecting oma kokichis death in drv3. if you haven't watched that please do! it'll be great helpful for whats to come with this story.

Kokichi Ouma. He was a notorious, alleged pirate with nothing better to do other than steal and kill others as a way to bring himself entertainment, along with his crew. Together, the group had been known as D.I.C.E. Despite the rumors however, Shuichi Saihara couldn't help but feel as if there was something about this pirate that didn't make sense. And, after he had interacted with the boy face to face, his curiosity had only grown.
