He does all that is necessary to protect Maya and for them to escape the Borderland. As they spend more time together surviving he starts viewing Maya differently. But what happens when Arisu shows up at The Beach and is reunited with Maya. Will Arisu get in the way of Chishiya acknowledging his feelings for Maya and admitting to her? Or will Arisu and Maya friendship turn into something more?
