When seventeen year old Nat Barker is told that she's going to be sent to Military school if she doesn't clean up her act, she decides that doing her homework doesn't seem like such a bad idea after all. Ivy Harrison is a fifteen year old girl who just can't seem to trust anybody. Her father cheated on her mother and her mother had an affair with her boss. After all of this, she began to live with her boyfriend who tried to get her to do drugs and alcohol. She gave in and she became an alcoholic. Ivy went to her friend Aria's house to drop off homework after school when Aria was sick, only to find that her boyfriend was cheating on her. After that she was never able to trust anyone. She has been friendless ever since. Until a new boy moves in next to her. He tries to gain her trust but she refuses to let him. "Why are you helping me?" She said with tears pouring down her face. "Because I actually care, Ivy"

Walang mali humiling but what if wala ka sa tamang lugar? Will you still keep on wishing? Kahit alam mong maliit lang ang chance mo na maging totoo ito? Will you stop believing that wishes will come true? Siguro umaabot tayo sa point na hindi na tayo naniniwala dahil wala naman talagang kasiguradohan kung magiging totoo ba talaga ang mga hiling.
