In their previous town, they were homeschooled, not leaving the property for a total of 2 years, only leaving their room when they were the only person home, which was often, all of this changes when their mom packs up their home and take Y/N with them to Beckton, a town 5 hours away from her previous home. This is a short play (approximately 10 minutes) to be performed by two actors, via video conferencing. The year is 2030. The pandemic of 2020 was only the start of our problems. Now, a much smaller human population struggles with being permanent, lifetime 'shut-ins', cared for only by AIs and robots. In this 'new normal', trying to find a romantic partner can prove slightly tricky. By getting together over video, Laura and Errol had hoped to make their long-distance love work. Now, it's all gone wrong... With the help of a non-binary AI called 'Blue' (and the timeless power of Shakespeare), might there still be time to reboot their love?

How do you make amends with someone who won't talk to you, or won't even leave their own home? [Hikikomori are people who isolate themselves to extreme measures by choice. Pollution no longer was a threat thanks to all around air purifiers, plant life equalized with mankind, and new unknown kinds of plants were now discovered. Global Warming no longer continued on this world. Though these new species have been discovered, there was another thing in this new world that was different, and that was that the adult population mysteriously decreased drastically, and the children population became more dominant. Everyone called this new world, "Fantasy Earth" A boy named Konata Himeda, a practically average boy and shut-in was suddenly sent outside by his mother. Little did he know that after taking one step outside to Fantasy Earth, his life would change forever.
