Rather than a harsh betrayal, however, his loyal second-in-command decided to quit pursuing the one he called his King, finding himself to be a nuisance. His self-exile was his final act of love. But what he didn't get to hear before his departure was the recent discovery of the Queen's deceit... Having been left clueless, Tsukiyama retreats without warning. With no other Ghoul at his side, Ken is left to grieve his losses on his own.
