Colby and Adam Wood are brothers and they have never got along. Colby loved to tease his older brother by calling Mr Perfect. Adam has the perfect grades, perfect attitude and quarterback of the football team. Colby is ten months younger but is also a senior. He doesn't have the attitude that his brother has. He has a temper and he is a cornerback on the football team. Clara Preston is the boys' new football coach's daughter and she is new to the school and gets to experience Colby's bitter attitude first hand.
