(Comments are most welcome as this is a first draft) This is a first draft of a fantasy novel based on the real-life story of a Sicilian-American witch who asked me to tell her story in a fictionalized format. I've taken considerable liberty, with her permission, with the causes and effects of her life as a Massachusetts witch from a long line of witches. In the first chapter you meet our hero at her birth. Clearly, as a baby for most of this novel, her thinking, actions, and so on will be of small consequence to the plot or story line. She operates primarily as a central catalyst for all the other characters, human, heavenly, and otherwise. I honestly don't know what is going to happen as I write this book. I have the journals and diaries of my friend. How that plays out for the characters is anyone's guess at this point. I have no outline other than the journals and diaries. I have no character studies, no background. I am doing a lot of research on Strega, heavenly hierarchy, Sicilian-American life in the 1950's through 1980's in the Boston area, and on the neighborhood I am fictionalizing. My witch knowledge is coming directly from Wiccan priestesses and the person whose life I am reinventing. Our little witch is psychic, intuitive, can hear but not clearly see spirits, and has little understanding of what is different about her from other children. Her mother and aunt are also psychic/magic, as is her great aunt and grandmother to varying degrees and awareness. Her mother is also bi-polar, but in the mid to late 1950's does not mean the same thing as it does now. There was little to no understanding of these things at that time, much less treatment. Music and rhythms are going to be found as a theme throughout the novel. This is a trait of me as an author and also an important factor in our little witch's life.

Elaya Rodrigues is a out going 19 year old. She doesn't listen to anyone but herself. She always wants to be the center of attention and is always going out. She hadn't really thought about love that much with her always going out. Grey La Rose is a 24 year old son for the Sicilian Mafia. He didn't believe in love. All he cared about was his family and his mafia. What will happen when Grey finds out that the Spanish Mafia owes money to him. DISCLAIMER I don't know if this book will have smut but I know for sure that it will have smaller things such as cuddling and kissing. Hope you enjoy:)
