How does sickle cell disease occur in the human body?

Rachel is now in college, she has found love and her life as a college student is typical till someone emerged to turn it upside down. Someone is leaving clues to her past or is she just imagining it? Rachel had gone through a roller coaster of terror in the Hausefalle's house, now the terror shadows her every step in the world. This is a story about a person who has sickle cell anemia and a person who suffers from depression . Sickle cell anemia is an inherited disease in which the body produces abnormal shapes of red blood cells. Furthermore, this story shows how a person with depression and with sickle cell anemia fight their battles in their life and how will they help each other to survive.

Luella can physically appear to be your average young kid, but inside, a lot more is happening. Sickle Cell Anemia had only JUST started control her everyday life when her bodily health took a downfall. Because of how severe this disease is, she is aware she might not be able to have as long as a lifespan as others, but still sticks to her regimen knowing it won't really be worth it in the end. Archie, her best (and only) friend has tried his best to stick with her through everything, knowing the person she used to be, but since she was sick, she felt she'd never ever be the same person.

Troy C Van Sickle is a high accomplished business professional. He is a successful business owner who works and lives in Palm Springs, California. He has led very successful careers in both the real estate and trucking industries. He is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). There, he maintained membership with a variety of campus organizations and was a member of the Honor Society. He graduated in 1993 at the top of his class with a 4.2 grade-point-average. A year after graduating from the prestigious state college, he enrolled in community college and, there, earned his license to practice real estate. He began his career in real estate in 1994 as an entry level professional at a Palms Springs realty brokerage firm. Palm Springs is one of the nation's most competitive real estate markets and his success in the area is a testament to his innovative sales technique as well as his deep knowledge of Southern California. In that same period, he began working for a trucking company in Riverside County as a business consultant. Troy C Van Sickle had gained experience with driving trucks professionally prior to his becoming a consultant for the trucking business. He is a consummate professional whose dedication became well recognized throughout the business community. He was a member of the National Association of Realtors and a variety of other professional organizations during his time as a real estate agent, as well as a trucking industry professional. He continued his success in the real estate and trucking arenas for many years, eventually becoming a co-owner of both his real estate brokerage firm as well as the trucking company he consulted. It takes a special kind of family to raise a kid with a debilitating illness. But if you can survive the challenges of raising a kid with Sickle Cell and usher that kid to adulthood with your family intact, that's a bond strong enough to withstand anything. This is a true story about my Sickle Cell diagnosis at 3 years old and how my family dealt with the long hospital stays, finding a doctor who cares, finding ways to make home life as comfortable as possible, and never ever letting me see myself as a burden. Childhood cancers have significant better curative rate compared to adult cancer. Over years, India has improved significantly in treatment of solid and blood cancer in Paediatric age group. Every year, over four Lakh cases of childhood cancer are detected in the world and 50,000 cases are detected in India. 2018, Global Initiative of Childhood Cancer was announced by World Health Organisation. Golden Ribbon is universal symbol for childhood cancer awareness and September is the golden month for awareness of childhood cancer. How is Childhood cancer different from adult cancer? Blood cancers, lymphomas, bone tumours, brain tumours are seen in Paediatric age group, while breast, prostate, lung, oral, stomach cancer, multiple myeloma are seen in adult. A child is resilient warrior - fights like a Superhero. Child's innocence regarding his diagnosis, appearance, financial strain, and prognosis- indirectly boosts a positive attitude - positively affects the treatment. Childhood cancers respond better to chemotherapy and side effect are much less. Early Signs/ symptoms of childhood cancer : 1. Fever persists beyond 1-2 weeks without infection. 2. Bone pain/ backache. 3. Painless swelling in abdomen, neck and bones 4. Unexplained weight loss 5. Bruising/ epistaxis 6. Pallor 7. Recent onset of squint 8. white reflex in the pupil / protrusion of eyes. 9. Brain tumours can present with recurrent headaches, vomiting or disturbance in balance and gait.
