Being a healer is not easy when you're in the middle of an apocalyptic situation. Kimi R. Barrett was a trained doctor from the most advanced hospital in Ciridean. However, her previous coworkers had no knowledge of her origins. Kimi was born as part vampire that has run through generations, though in order to keep it a secret they adapt to only consuming very small measures of blood and their special powers of regeneration and healing. Now, Kimi helps in the role of a healer to the new Amber Paradox, a team of the last remaining survivors of the deadly apocalyptic incident that occurred years ago. She helps to heal all her teammates while rarely going out to battle with them. Casiel A. Torres is one of the most talented fighters on the team for her perfect aim and coordination. Though this does not stop her from being also the most reckless of them all. Good aiming does not cover the fact she never thinks before taking action. So she is always at the healer's sanctuary for Kimi's aid. Though this never makes them friends, instead they argue over small things like Casiel's recklessness or Kimi's slow treatment process. Reckless Healing is a slow-burn GL story between a vampire healer and their reckless partly skeleton patient. Which will answer the question of how will these two be able to cooperate together when suddenly assigned to be team partners together?
