A lot can happen in one year. Ka-thump! Link released his held breath as he watched the stag he was hunting drop to the ground with little grace. After the return of Zelda and the fall of Calamity Ganon, Link slaved away for one whole year doing what he could to keep himself busy. Then on one fateful day everything changed. Knock, knock, knock! Link looked to his door confused as he looked at the clock hanging on his wall. It was 3:30 in the morning. No one should have been knocking on his door, but what caught his eyes was the small envelope that slid under his door into the kitchen. He placed his cutting knife down and went over to the thing seeing his name written in extravagant hand writing he knew all too well. He flipped the paper over seeing the bright red wax stamp of a cursive S he had grown to love.

The prince of the Zoras has fallen madly in love with the Hylian Champion. Link, oblivious to these feelings that were so inexplicably apparent, agreed to stay with the Zoras for a few weeks after his great feat of defeating Calamity Gabon. Who knew that this supposed "few weeks" would turn into a lifetime? (Romantically One-sided)

Link is having a lot of trouble. From a crush on the Zora Prince, to dealing with the guilt of the Lost Champions, It's becoming overwhelming. Sidon is blissfully unaware of Link's hardships, until he prevents Link from drowning near Luto's Crossing. TW: Suicide Attempt, Self-Hate.

He asked, breathless from the amount of energy that had practically evaporated from him. "You need to be careful, Young one. He constantly attempts to free the Divine Beasts, but it amounts to failure. Because that's all he is. He failed Hyrule all of those years ago - surely, he will do it again. *************************************************** Sidlink is my primary BOTW ship so that's in this.
