As torrential rain floods the streets of Sanditon, search parties are released to comb the town, the coves and beyond, and as Mary Parker awaits further news at home, she begins to reflect upon the events of the summer that led to this. Charlotte Heywood has returned home to Willingden and very nearly resigned herself to the daily toils of pastoral life, but when an unexpected letter arrives, she must decide whether she is ready to begin anew. Set both in Sanditon and London, this is a story of what might have happened next.

A fan fiction written for those of us who endured the heart wrenching ending to the final episode of Sanditon (ITV, 2019). [As a possible Season 2] Andrew Davies has written a completion of the last unfinished manuscript by Jane Austen. It's set in 1819 in a new and developing seaside resort on the south coast. This adaptation brings a young Charlotte Heywood to the town where our heroine soon becomes entangled with the lives of the people there. Here, she meets the rather mysterious and taciturn Sidney Parker. As the series continues, love blossoms but things don't go to plan and the series ends on a heartbreaking cliffhanger. I pick up the story here ... This is the first work in Return To Sanditon - Novella Collection. This is a completing work designed to give viewers of Sanditon (2019) a happy ever after with some bumps in the road along the way. We pick up the story shortly after Charlotte's return to Willingden, where she confesses her heartbreak to her sister, Alison. Alison prompts her to seek help and so begins Charlottes campaign to save Sidney from his marriage to Eliza Campion and Sanditon from financial ruin. n.b This is a follow on from Andrew Davies screenplay and is not a sequel to the novelisation by Kate Riordan. Sanditon shocked everyone with the ending, and many writers write their own version to continue this story. I'm not a writer, I'm just so impressed by this story, that I decided to write my own version of the sequel. The story immediately begins from the moment Charlotte left, and for the beginning I tried to imagine how Eliza's relationship with Sidney and all his families, including Georgiana, would develop, and what exactly would be the impetus for Sidney to decide to change the situation. Maybe it turned out more romantic, than I expected, but it seems to me, that in the last episode, we saw such powerful emotions and feelings in Sidney , that it gives me reason to think, that he would be ready to turn the whole world for Charlotte's sake, which I tried to show in my story. I added some of my illustrations, I hope you will like them

Chance encounter in Ireland. What if they meet under different circumstances in pre Covid Ireland? Will they be a match?

The letter had arrived two days ago and Sidney was still trying to comprehend its contents. The news contained within had both grieved him and vexed him in equal measure, so much so that he had struggled to compose a reply, for what response could he make to such a letter? This fanfic follows the story of Sanditon but with a twist. I will write it episode by episode (but split into parts) so it will still largely follow the plot and include all the characters we know and love, but the twist will make things rather different (and hopefully interesting)... As always - a HEA is guaranteed!

Willingden, two weeks later: Lady Susan is taking matters in hand, inviting Charlotte to London, because: "In love and in war, a first defeat never indicates what the final outcome will be." But even in London, all roads lead back to Sanditon and Sidney Parker, and soon enough, Charlotte finds herself back to sea-bathing, cliff top walks and Lady Denham's luncheon parties. With Mrs Campion's wedding just a few days away, can true love prevail when a farmer's daughter who reads books is up against the wealthiest widow in the country?

A re-telling and continuation of Sanditon (PBS/ITV) expanding on the thoughts and feelings of Charlotte and Sidney. Of course going beyond the heart-wrenching screen ending. This is the Sanditon book as I want it to be. What if Sidney and Charlotte were a little closer in age? What if they met as teenagers? What if instead of Eliza, Sidney lost Charlotte as a young man, only to find her again years later? Oneshot written for the Sanditon Valentine's Day Challenge. The Valentine's Day theme is subtle and not necessarily the main focus. Obviously, Sidlotte is the focus. When I decided to take on another challenge, I went searching for information about what Valentine's Day looked like during the Regency Era. Unfortunately, everything I came across said there was very little known about the customs of the time. Sending mass produced cards didn't become popular until the Victorian Era. All I could come up with was that heartfelt letters were passed to a sweetheart. I kept digging and came across a little something that I found quite interesting. I do not know the validity in this custom, but I still thought it might make an interesting theme for a story. I hope you all enjoy it.
