They come to Mackenzie and ask her to start for them that night. But the next day she wakes up with many offers to be other teams goalie. One catches her eye and it was the team she just played for .The Penguins.

"Hey, it was nice meeting you, but I've got to get to my seat." He stood up at the same time I did. "I never even learned your name." I felt guilty. "Kelsey. Kelsey Dixon." He smiled. "Sidney. Sidney Crosby."

Kolby Ryan Bair's(Bear), mom left the day after she was born. With nothing but her purse and a Walmart bag full of clothes, she vanished. Kolby's dad, David Bair, had too juggle a new born while being in the NHL. He did it on his own until he met Justin Read. Justin Read was a new player on David's team and well, you could call it love at first sight. No one on their team, the LA Kings, judged their relationship and it took 3 months for them too get hitched. For Kolby, life was good. Ever since she could walk, her dads had her on the ice and by the time she was 6, she was known as the ice queen. She practiced with her dads and their team every time she was allowed to. Hockey came natural to her. Tragedy stuck when Kolby was 10 and it felt like her life would never be the same. It was hard too believe a 10 year old wasn't happy and you could say, depressed. Finally when Kolby was 12 she got back to hockey and kept playing till she was 16, when she got pregnant with her daughter, Lily Shay Bair. Not being able to deal with her daughter's dad, Kolby and her dad moved from LA to Hershey, Pennsylvania. From there, her life takes off. People may not think a girl can play in the NHL but in the end, she's Living Proof. --- Sorry guys, this is a pretty long description but it covers everything that you need too know basically.
