This is about Carter Mitchell. He is a 15 year old dyslexic boy who was in an explosion that destroyed his home and killed his entire family. After waking up again from a year and a half long coma, Carter finds out he got a pair of blueish-silver colored wings that are made of metal, and his dyslexia is changed to where he see's the world as an enitirely different place. Then Carter does what his little sister Elisabeth used to say to him and go to school and make some friends. After doing that, he met two new friends named Jake Hale and Emily Cole. Later they meet an old man named Trevor Rentol who helps them on their journey. Now, the four of them are being hunted by everyone in the world, and they have to find out who killed Carters family, and stop them before they wipe out all of humanity from existence.

In 2137, recent innovations to astrobiology lead to the discovery of TESS Archive-73: Eidolon, nicknamed "Haven", by the United States. This moment marked a significant moment in history, and gave nations from around the world incentive to apply their efforts to the future together.
