Six wasn't taught to care for people, growing up in an abusive household until he was arrested at 15 for killing his father and sent to prison. Then Donald Fitzroy, a saving grace offered him to work for the CIA. Six was really good at it too, he was professional, emotionally distant and he liked it that way, unable to get attached or give his enemies any leverage against him. Until his mentor assigns him to look after his orphaned 11 year old niece Claire who has a heart condition. Before the gray man even knew what was happening, Claire restarted his dead heart.
