There aren't many of these, so I thought, why not. I'm in love with TLK and I just had to write for it. I will not be writing for anyone's OCs, just x readers! Cwen of Bebbanburg had known death. It frequented her life more than she could say in a short amount of time. And yet life had taken its course when Uhtred, her brother, was taken from her and she was kept in Bebbanburg, in a home that did not feel like a home. As she grows, taking care of her cousin and surviving under her uncle, Cwen finds that she cannot survive for long as long as Aelfric feels threatened by Uhtred. So I found it really hard to find writing for TLK so I made my own. This is a collection of one shots, preferences and drabbles...leave feedback(:

Haunted by increasingly sexual dreams of Uhtred, King Alfred struggles leading Wessex whilst battling his sinful desires. As rumours of a new Dane force spread, Alfred defies Uhtred's advice and sets off on a journey to protect Mercia's lands, and hopefully find divine guidance. It all goes wrong when Alfred is captured by the new Dane army disguised as holy monks. When Uhtred rides to save him he too is captured. The two men are forced into closeness in an underground dungeon as tensions in Wessex rise, and Aethelflaed, her men, and Uhtred's men are on the hunt to rescue them.
