Rudy Stace is a runner from a small community in NYC. The neighborhood has been in poverty for the past fifteen years, and it keeps getting worse now that the past landlords have sold off their property to new men. To afford rent, Rudy has been forced to win race after race and snag home the winning prize. However, this race didn't go as strongly for Rudy, especially after finding out what her landlords have been spending the people's rent on. Now homeless and nearly broken, Rudy wants to get revenge and take back what was hers and her communities'; their money and dignity. Will she be able to succeed in her plan? Or will she be gone before it even gets started?

Most would want a life of wealth. Marcie didn't. All she wanted was to just spend time with her dad and be normal. Yet, when he finally arrived home from a business trip she's suddenly kidnapped by an assassin who has a twisted sense of humor. Now forced to travel with this man, she silently wondered if a life of wealth was much safer than just wishing to be normal.

In my opinion, poetry is one of the most beautiful gifts that can be received or given. Poetry can be several different things. It can be used as an escape, a hobby, enjoyment, a present, or many other things. Poetry can save a life, and Poetry has saved mine on several occasions. This is my poetry.
