Silentash Stories

The story is set in the mid-18th century on the rugged, iron-red continent of Stors. At its center is the village of Huffo, a place surgically divided by class and race. While the elite live in the marble heights of Huffo Vall, the poor are trapped in the suffocating basin of Huffo Ball. The tragedy isn't just that the rich oppress the poor; it's that the poor are divided against themselves. The white laborers and black slaves of the Ball live in a state of mutual hatred, fueled by the masters above to prevent any hope of a rebellion. Into this powder keg of resentment walks Kael, a young man who refuses to play the game of hate. His secret love for a girl from the heights becomes the spark that ignites a firestorm. As a massive army marches from 530 kilometers away to seize the land, the people of Huffo remain so blinded by their own prejudices that they do not see the end coming until the dust of the invaders buries them all-rich, poor, white, and black-into a single, silent layer of ash.
