Así empieza el recorrido de Martin hacia su pasado, entre bosques y montañas que rodean el pueblo, un extrañísimo pueblo cuyo surgimiento es tan extraño como aterrador. Se encontrará con un niño huérfano, por quien sentirá un gran afecto y lo adoptará, así como un viejo dueño de un hotel. Al pasar tan solo un día, el pueblo cambiará drásticamente, hallándose sumergida en una espesa neblina, y en ella se verá un brillo sustancial como si estuviera invadida por varias luciérnagas. Sin embargo, ese no será su único problema al darse cuenta que ya no existe salida alguna de Merfil, entrando en un bucle temporal llevándolo a un tiempo muerto, topándose con persona ya muertas quienes desparecieron en la espesura del bosque, y los cuales se comportan de una manera tan extraña, como si fueran controlados mentalmente por algo desconocido, mientra que en el mundo real empieza un conjunto de desapariciones dentro de los hogares de los habiotantes, adermás que se darán cuenta de la falta de Martín e iniciaran una búsqueda... Poco a poco, Martin ira desentrañando el misterio del pueblo, el por que de la existencia de mas dimensiones, y sobre todo, descubrirá la verdad de su sangriento pasado. Se enfrentará a criaturas horridas, además de una secta que controla el lugar y que lo perseguirán, ya que necesitan exclusivamente su cuerpo para ser poseído por el Nuevo Dios, un Ser sin forma venido del Cosmos y llegó a la tierra, ocultándose en la profundidad de las tierras de Merfil. ...

Premièrement, j'adore Silent Hill, son côté mystique, ses monstres qui ont du symbolisme selon les épisodes, ses villes avec la cendre qui englobe l'atmosphère et j'en passe. L'histoire que je vais écrire ne seras achever pas avant longtemps, il faudra être patient et attendre. L'histoire raconte le départ pour le Colorado, à l'occasion de l'enterrement de la mère de William Aftermann. Il est accompagné de sa femme Mary Watson et de Tom Aftermann, son fils. Tout se passé bien jusqu'à ce que la voiture dont conduisait William heurta quelque chose de non humain. Une épaisse brume apparaît et un panneau les accueillait à Silent Hill.
