Ember Rhodes is a lover of all things buildings and architecture - all based on the concept of the art of creating and rebuilding that which is close to ruins. While Sebastian Bradford is a strict enforcer of the law, in efforts to control all things to avoid the inevitable ruins of something that starts so beautifully. A chance meeting introduces something to them through the art of conversation, a promised coffee, and a project that shouldn't mean anything. In which the love they both so deeply desire is trapped within the silhouettes of each love story they have come across. And so begs the question, when love begins from a place where people try not to feel, is it worth it at all, and will it endure all? Based on Olivia Dean's song - I've Seen It

Silhouette is a collection of poems about love, life and death that depict life on a large canvas with all the colors of life, be it dark or light. Hope you like it! The Tribute- This first poem is inspired by the movie Pompeii (2014) which made me explore more about the catastrophic volcanic eruption in Pompeii in AD 79 and the recent discovery of bones of a man and a woman embracing by an archeologist. Years after their death their love still persists and inspires the world so this is my tribute to Pliny the younger the only witness of the disaster who lived to tell the tale.
