The Silkie Hassle: Murders, Fires, Secrets, and Baby Chicks *Part two out of the Chicken Series, a series in which only consists of stories and books about chickens. During the summer of 1786, the preeminent Crowháwk family adopts four Silkies-three hens and one rooster-from their local livestock festival after the loss of McLean Hatch hen Mocha, whom was known as the 'breadwinner of the household' due to the many eggs she laid. After only 3 months of having the Silkies, one chicken begins to sit on eggs, leading to the hatching of thirteen Silkie baby chicks. What will the family do with 24 chickens on their hands, with a turn of evil events?

Elanor is just a simple chicken in a simple coop with a simple life. But that's all about to change. Elanor enters the forest, yearning for cover, hoping to find a new family. What she gets is not just a family, but a flock. This book is a little spin off of warriors. Also, this book may have MANY MANY errors, but trust me, it's a work in progress. This is my second Silkie story. Anna Venteuse was an abused child, until Kenna her Mother took her and turned her into a Silkie or Selkie. As a sea maiden, Anna's home is the sea, but all Silkies are known to live among human's periodically. During the last days of the Great War Anna befriends a nurse and a doctor at the nearby hospital. But they are curious, and their curiosity could expose Anna's secret. All Anna can due is pray to Stella Maris, the patron of sea creatures, that her secret remains safe.

Silkie was a Drone. Unlike most of her kind, she lived off the island and grew up in a completely new and unknown world. Her mother took her to an area far away from the Drone Island. It was here that Silkie grew up and lived in a tree in a dangerous forest. Because of the dangers of this unknown world, Silkie was always told to stay in the tree. She has been living in it for 9 years, while her mother collected food and things she needed. But what happens if Silkie's mother disappears? What happens if Silkie sets foot to the world no other Drone has ever seen? To a world where there either exists Order or Chaos.

Elaine then relates the local folklore about silkies, seals, and in doing so, they decipher the message...
