Angels and demons have been at war since the beginning of time, by now everyone was tired of fighting. Eventually though the fighting came to a stand still when the demons prepoused a truce. An alliance of sorts, the angels agreed sick of the useless blood shed. In order to complete the alliance a marriage was necessary, both kingdoms agreed that the eldest son of the demon king and the eldest (and only) daughter of the angel king would marry after the girl turned 14. And this is where we start our story of lies, deceit, betrayal and eventually, love.

(Happens after Volume 4 guys so SPOILERS) Ren and Nora are happy for Ruby, of course, when Team RWBY reunites, but will the remaining members of JNPR go out on their own, or stay by their friends' sides like old times? Ren is back to his old, quieter ways after the defeat of the Nuckelavee (the nightmare fuel), and Nora finds it comforting that she is still pretty much the only person he talks to. When Salem's plan to bring down Haven Academy is brought into action, it will likely have the same results as Beacon if RWBY and JNPR don't unite to stop them ahead of time.
