First, arriving in chains and shackles Mind racing; prepared for battle, in a land not my own. Stripped from my home, Humiliated, whipped, raped and frightened to the bone... In this hell; I felt alone. Then, they say 'you're free' Was I supposed to be happy? That I was working for Zero fees, tilling, nurturing, and pleading on my hands and my knees Unable to read... please! Finally, I began to fight. Fought for liberation and rights Fought not to see my brother's body dangling from Great Oaks at night Struggling to survive, vote, learn ...and, We shall overcome... someday? They didn't want me to know. When I figured it out, they implemented COINTELPRO ...and, burned down my community. But my immunity to downfall at the hand of oppression Left me standing in solidarity with those just like me. Now, the day has arrived. And, I must believe my eyes because Black Lives... They Matter If I walk up to the White House door and knocked, A brown face would answer. This book contains negative thoughts and other things that might not be suitable for some people. So read it on your own risk. But it might have a silver lining in it's end. who knows only time can tell. 'The way your hair practically glows in this dim, depressing place reminds me of that every cloud has a silver lining'' But I'm real, not a figment of a child's imagination whereas that's a motivational quote to convince people that life isn't this absolute shithole which in reality it actually is, plus quotes like these are the core for people's imagination after they realise they're no longer a child and that they have responsibilities now' The simple(apart from the being judged for the age difference bit) love story of a 20 year old, blonde, happy-go-lucky popstar and a 15 year old, silver haired cynic he just happened to nearly run over whilst driving in the rain.

Definition of silver lining : a consoling or hopeful prospect. That's what everyone needs, hope, hope for the future, hope for the next generation, hope for changes to come, and hope of the possibilities to come. Everyone needs just a little bit of hope in their lives, for some they need hope almost every day. For the avengers, they need hope every day, hope that what they do can make the world better, safer. Yet every day they find themselves facing new challenges that push them to their limit each time. So hope is what they need, a silver lining amidst war. And apparently, that comes in the shape of two kids with dreams and hope written across their faces. I don't own any of the Marvel characters or Percy Jackson characters.
