A book of poetry I'm not a pro But I do write some prose

Phantom limb pain. When you feel pain in a limb that is no longer there. When you've become so accustomed to feeling something for so long it never quite stops. It becomes background noise even after the stereo has turned off. Everyone's been in that place when you cry for so long, so many times, that even when you're happy, smiling or laughing; you can still feel the weight of the tears trailing down your face, carving scars. Phantom Tears. -

Zion Kuwonu grew up in a wealthy and loving family. While his life may seem to be perfect on the outside, Zion is struggling with a mental battle as his mind continuously tries to take him back to a place he would much rather forget. When these two meet, Mia finds herself actually liking another person and breaking down her walls unintentionally for someone she barely just met. And this scares her more than anything else. With the mental strain of a teenage girl and the inner demons of a teenage boy comes a chaotic love story filled with pain, redemption, and ultimately love.
