Silverpaw is trying to survive normal apprentice life. but when rogues invade the forest, all the clan are put into question. Goldpaw just wants to be a warrior so he con confes his feelings to his crush, but when she dies, he becoms all but a normal apprentice.

Peace is what each Clan strives for. But how can there be peace when there are no cats to be peaceful with? Cats have been disappearing from their homes, never to be found. Silverpaw, a LeafClan apprentice, received a dream. She has no idea what it meant - until she awoke. With horror, she was attacked by a strange, deadly cat. It had the stench of a rotting carcass and the appearance of one. Knowing nothing good is coming towards the Clans, it is up to Silverpaw to tackle the Haunted - as she called them - and save her family and friends. However, unexpected trouble brews for the LeafClan apprentice as she works towards her goal of saving her loved ones. Including a Shadowclan warrior sneaking into her camp, and a fight between the other Thunderclan apprentice, Frostpaw who shes attracted to or the handsome shadowclan apprentice Wolfpaw that she keeps secretly seeing. Her decision will change her life forever. (setting is lake territory)

((Book 2 of the series)) Silverpaw starts to learn the lives of kittypets and of other things that involve the Twolegs. Silverpaws mind still can't wrap about the prophecy that Flamestar had given her "The moon and waves shall turn red, two cats of the same kin shall find a way to change the fate of the tide". Silverpaw tries to reach out to her ancestors for the questions she tries to grasp but has no prevail. Silverpaw ends up stuck in a twolegs nest and is determined to get back to the forest no matter what.

But her mentor, and deputy, Nightshadow, doesn't let her. "It'll take to long, silverpaw!" " No no no, so it this way! " "no. You cannot fight any foxes." She wants something more. Lucky for her, when she wakes up in an empty camp, no leader, no medicine cat, no anybody... She's about to get it.

But that's not all... someone is planning an attack on OakClan, and if Silverpaw and her friends don't success in their journey, the Clan might be gone forever.
