Two worlds of superheroes merged into one. But the turbulent times of fear and suspicion have died down. There are hardly any distinctions between the two, but instead a new reality and new dangers. Lex Luther has branded Superman a Mutant. Nightcrawler protects Gotham City with his Outsiders. Lois Lane and Matt Murdock are the most powerful couple on Earth. And the Silver Surfer has taken over the Green (and every other color) Lantern Corp completely - forming the Silver Lanterns. But though there is danger, there's no chaos anymore, much to the displeasure of Loki, God of Mischief, and Joker, a self-proclaimed agent of chaos. The two make a bet wagering who can create more chaos than the other. For them, It's a game. For the rest of this new universe, it's a crisis unlike they've ever seen before.

Cosmos Cubed is the first of a 3-part cosmic-scope story that will pit the Guardians against some of the most powerful, yet under-rated cosmic entities of the Marvel Multiverse.
