I haven't really had any lessons on poetry apart from grade 5 English, but I enjoy it. I feel like the emotions that I feel are great for poems, so I'll write them. Not every poem will be based on my real emotions tho, some will just be made up, probably the love ones will be not my emotions because I'm a lonely teenager, lol.
