Baz is in love. He is in love for the person who is supposed to be his worst enemy. He plans to keep it a secret, but what will happen when he is kidnapped. Simon is confused. His thoughts about Baz used to be strictly hatred. Now his thoughts are jumbled and confused. When his roommate gets captured he doesn't know what to do or what to feel.

Harry Potter Fanfic Chapter 1 Albus stared out of the train carriage window as The Hogwarts Express pulled out of Platform 9 3/4. He fought back the tears that were trying to crawl down his cheeks as the image of his mum, dad and sister waving goodbye disappeared into the distance. "Is baby Albus missing mummy already?" teased James. James was Albus's brother and had been at Hogwarts for a year. James was in Gryffindor and he was a Beater for the Quidditch team. He was also known as the school joker and this meant that everyone knew who he was. However, everyone knew who James was before he even went to Hogwarts because he was one of Harry Potter's sons. James loved the attention that came with being a Potter but Albus sometimes wished his family wasn't so famous. "I'm not crying!" Albus replied defensively. "You will be when they put you in Slytherin," James replied. "Leave him alone, James" interrupted Rose (Ron and Hermione's daughter and therefore James and Albus's cousin.) After a few minutes of James continuing to tease Albus, a blonde boy asked if he could sit with them. It was Scorpius Malfoy. Scorpius was Draco's son and looked like a miniature version of his father. Rose made space for him to sit down but James gave him a dirty look. "I assume your hoping to get into Slytherin then." James said bitterly. "It would be great to be in the house that my parents were in but my father tells me that Gryffindor has produced some great wizards too." said Scorpius trying to be nice. James ignored him and started reading his muggle book about a maze, but Rose blushed as she started a conversation with Scorpius. Albus watched and listened. Rose was asking him questions but you could tell she wasn't really listening to his answers. Instead she stared wide eyed at his face. She thought he looked great with his blonde hair and emerald green eyes. Rose definitely fancied him. And so did Albus...

The story is supposed to be over. Simon Snow did everything he was supposed to do. He beat the villain. He won the war. He even fell in love. Now comes the good part, right? Now comes the happily ever after... So why can't Simon Snow get off the couch? What he needs, according to his best friend, is a change of scenery. He just needs to see himself in a new light... That's how Simon and Penny and Baz end up in a vintage convertible, tearing across the American West. They find trouble, of course. (Dragons, vampires, skunk-headed things with shotguns.) And they get lost. They get so lost, they start to wonder whether they ever knew where they were headed in the first place . . .

Three stories about Simon, Baz and Penny taking place half a year later after the epilogue of Carry On... The first one is about their anniversary, the second one about Baz and Simon confronting Baz's parents on a Christmas dinner and the third one is about Simon having a bad mental health day and how Baz and Penny cheer him up. (Written long before Wayward Son came out!!!)

A SIMON AND BAZ FANFICTION (SEQUEL TO CARRY ON): The World of Mages has never been better since the death of the Insidious Humdrum and with it, the growth of the 'dead spots' scattered around Britain. Simon Snow is currently taking courses at university, but still has no idea what to do with his life. Magic surrounds him everyday, and he can't help but miss it more and more. No one could understand his pain, not Baz, the love of his life nor Penelope, his closest friend. So when he finds a way to bring his magic back, he decides to tackle this problem on his own, in true Simon style, inevitably causing disastrous results.

In the aftermath of the events in Carry On, Simon Snow must learn to live without magick. With help from his roommates Penelope Bunce and Baz Pitch, he must navigate this new life, and the responsibilities that come with it; his inheritance of the headmaster position at Watford Academy, and the protection of his loved ones, all without magick. All of this to juggle, along with the appearance of a new, dangerous threat to the world of mages.

This is the scene in the forest where Simon sees Baz and Agatha, just before the Humdrum takes Simon and Penelope. I wrote this last year for my english class. We were assigned to read a book of our choosing (and of course I picked Carry On), then write a prequel/epilogue in the author's style. All of the characters in this story belong to Rainbow Rowell.

Simon just found out that his father is the mage and Baz is there to help him through it and take his mind off of it. This is a scene I imagine happening towards the end of Anyway the wind blows.
