A continuation of Young Royals s2. Deals with the aftermath of Prince Wilhelm's speech and the the role the queer community plays in his story. TW for depiction of Depersonalisation/Generalised Anxiety Disorder

We all know the story of Wilhelm and Simon and how (spoilers) they had a happy ending.. However, somewhere in an alternate Universe... the story went a little bit differently than we thought.. This is a retelling of Young Royals with a dark twist. The Royal Family awaits the underdog's revenge but what if his plans don't go well? Will he still fulfill his duty or choose love and freedom? As for who he is.... you'll find out soon enough. Disclaimer: The characters and story do not belong to me, they belong to Netflix's Young Royals.

This is basically a Young Royals 2 fanfic. I know it's already out, and season 3 is coming too but I've only got ideas for season 2. Prince Wilhelm, someone who never really though of his sexuality until he gets into trouble and gets sent to a boarding school by his parents. He meets someone who- he gets involved with. He starts spending time with said person, and... things get interesting... Love, Drama, Heartbreak, loss of loved ones, mental health, betrayal. All things that could happen. (tw for mental health issues on chapters<3) All characters are from Netflix's; Young Royals (Ahhh season 3!!)

Some of these will be sad but most will be happy:) (I don't write a lot like at all so im trying🥲)

Ten years ago Wille's parents took him away from Hillerska. He hasn't seen or spoken to Simon since then. Now his girlfriend wants to drag him to a festival that he doesn't really want to go to, but then goes anyway because he has no motivation to argue. The night before he thinks about her. (I change the twists and add more) - Young, Swedish Prince Wilhelm gets sent to the exceptional boarding school, Hillerska by his parents' choice after attending public school and acting misbehaved. He is formally introduced by everyone in the school, but leaving his brother is hard for him. Although he doesn't like the decision his parents have made, he settles in quickly with the help of his second cousin, August. Things take a turn, leaving Wilhelm having to make a difficult decision and having to choose who to trust.

It's Halloween at Hillerska Boarding School and the pressure of mid-term exams, on top of fighting his demons and coming to terms with who he is, is proving too much for August. Is there even anybody that actually cares about him after what he did? Trigger Warning: Eating Disorders, Anorexia and Bulimia.

YR SEASON TWO SPOILERS! i described the first four minutes of young royals season two because i think its SUCH A GOOD OPENING and i can't wait for the show to come out. ALL PLOT CREDITS TO THE AMAZING YOUNG ROYALS WRITERS!! i may continue writing this when season two officially comes out on 1st November :)
