The intro of the story a year after the first incedent. The grace family & now my oc family of 4 kids.

While in the house they'd inherited after their mother's unfortunate passing, Simon and Jared Grace recollect the old house at the age of 23. They make the house stable and vibrant once again with the help of a few old friends and few memories are visited. While their victory is strong, it is short lived when the seemingly panicked creatures bring up another resident. While Simon and Jared appear to be the only current residents, the creatures speak of the unseen, a creature who lurks in the dark. A creature over 80 feet, monstrous in size and capable of terrible deeds. Simon and Grace have long since forgotten Mulgurath, their minds are hazy and in disbelief, but when their stuff begins to go missing with zero explanation, they grow curious... Simon and Jared had searched the whole house, but no answers floated to the surface. Jared had grown beyond enraged, it was his personal belongings! He created a plan to go somewhere they'd recently discovered to see what lurks... Below the surface.

" Jared exclaimed, arms out in an exasperated manner ━ despite the strained restrictions his suit jacket had on him. He was rather displeased from the way he was being talked about, like he wasn't among the two of them. " Sorry, son━ " " What is it then? Or, do I have to keep calling you ' Human ' ? " That made Jared's face harden with an underlying sense of aggravated annoyance. His fists clenched, exhaling deeply through his nose. He was already dealing with how his family had discarded him, not believing him. For what? Some feeble copy of him that was just Mulgarath. And, now ━ he was dealing with someone that was giving him as much attitude as he would give to the average person. He supposed it was karma and well-deserved ━ but, later would've been nice. " . . . . Jared. " " Hm. " That was all she had to say? Seriously? " Wh ━ That's it?! " Jared exclaimed. " What else do you want me to say, Human? " " How about my actual name? " He stepped closer, as did she ━ their glares never wavering, as Mr. Spiderwick wavered his hands and stepped in between the two. " Alright, you two. No need to be hostile. " That was enough to ward off the tension for a moment, as the teens huffed. " We're better off inside than we are still being out here with━ " He's cut off by a barrage of goblins ramming into the forcefield, flying back into a dogpile. " ━ them. " IN WHICH . . . . Two years after her pardon, Grace Marks receives a letter from a Mrs. Jordan requesting her assistance at their home. Simon is ill and the last desperate hope is that Grace can help. But what can she do when he has lost every memory of her? Because of my timeline, in this story Grace only serves around 15 years total. Also a disclaimer that this is not very historically accurate and Im not rly going for realistic lol This starts years after the end of the netflix series because it broke my heart the way it concluded. I know there is some discourse on whether their relationship is romanticized obsession or real love but either way I like the passion that their "romance" has because to me it is a love story whether it fits the normal standard or not.
