As we understand from the first episode of the series, Simon, the boy who invented the app called about that to disgrace the entire school, dies mysteriously. I loved his character entirely, for this reason, I decided to start a fanfiction about him, drastically changing his destiny. The characters are the same as the series, except for the arrival of a new family: the Trownhill family. In fact, June is the new arrival at school and her life will intersect with that of Simon, in a rather unexpected way. Simon is considered an asshole, but can she see something more in him? A "one of us is lying" plot that I thought was poorly mentioned in the series and book. This is my take of their relationship, and yes I will be taking some quotes from the first book. There will be smut, mature language and dark themes such as death mentioned. If you aren't comfortable with those sort of things then please you don't have to read those bits and I'll give some sort of summary towards the end of that chapter.
