Adele dated a man a long time ago. She was so deeply in love with him. But they were both building their lives. The last time Adele heard his name it wasn't in a good light. His mother had told Adele that he was ill and not doing well. Since then Adele never heard from him. She thought something terrible had happened to him. Adele ended up getting married to another man to somewhat distract her from the love of her life who she thinks is dead. But something unexpected happens.

Revisiting her hometown after years away proves to be a challenge for Adele. She has to face all the problems she ran away from, one of them being a past lover who was her other half. After so long away, she finally has to decide if she's going to come to terms with her loss or she's going to hold on to the last shred of love they have left.

she wasn't planning on falling in love that day. she didn't think a man like him would hold such a special place in her heart. he never understood, after all the time they spent together, and with all the love he had for her, why he just couldn't tell her those three things.
