She soon catches the attention of Kate Laswell and Shepard, who are able to convince the government to use Charlie in Captain Price's new "141 Task Force". How well will things play out? Icarus, a faceless member of Taak Force 141, suddenly has his face revealed with a mission gone wrong. It doesn't seem to bother him, but now he's staying at the 141 base of operations, and it seems to bother someone else. TW//////// blood, death, torture A Call of Duty Fanfic (possibly a Ghost x Character; dunno yet.) All characters, except for Icarus and Amanda, and it takes place after the MW2 campaign (spoilers). Since we don't know what happens after it (yet) I took some inspiration from past games as to what may happened with some characters (i.e. Graves, Shepard).

Everyone thinks Ghost has no life outside the mask-until his secret brother, Kit Riley, steps onto base with a borzoi named Scott and a past he's done surviving. Soft around the edges and steel down the spine, Kit chooses safety at Ghost's side while 141 scrambles to adjust. Between missions and mess-hall chaos, healing becomes the mission-and family, non-negotiable. __________ There's a joke at base: Ghost doesn't have a life outside the mask. That ends the day a civilian steps off a transport-with a long-legged borzoi at his heel-and Ghost crosses the tarmac to pull him into a real hug. Meet Kit Riley: soft around the edges, steel down the spine. He's crossing oceans to start over where it's safest-beside his big brother. The team reels, adjusts, and meddles: Soap pokes, Gaz observes, Price measures, Alejandro and Rudy bring warmth, and Scott the borzoi judges everyone's life choices. Kit isn't a soldier, but he's dangerous in other ways: he reads a room, stitches skin and fabric, cooks like a pro, and refuses to break again. This short story began as a story arc for the Early Birds book, but that story took a different direction and it no longer fit. It's been lying in my 'books in progress' folder for a long time, so I decided to change the name, add some meat to it, and upload it as a short story.

The man remembers everything, and with every mission, the distance between them closes. The boy she tormented is gone. The forest was unnaturally still, cold air heavy with a metallic tang. A scream tore through the trees, sharp and otherworldly, followed by a crash that shook the earth. Simon Riley stumbled toward a smoking crater, where a small figure huddled amid splintered wood and scattered feathers. A boy-barefoot, bruised, trembling. Wings, broken and bloodied, draped uselessly across the ground. His body shuddered, flickering with faint pulses of strange light beneath the skin. When he lifted his head, Simon froze. His eyes glowed-gold and white, shifting like molten light. Panic radiated off him. He scrambled backward, wings dragging, air whipping into chaotic spirals around him. Feathers spun in the vortex, static crackling along his bruised skin. Fear alone made the forest shiver, branches groaning, leaves torn from their stems. He wasn't attacking; he was cornered, wounded, and certain the world-or Simon-was coming to take him. The boy curled around his broken wings, the forest holding its breath as terror became a storm, ready to shatter everything in its path.

The places mentioned in this story are real. I've tried to be as historically accurate as possible, but I'm no expert, so please excuse me if I'm off in my descriptions.

A book is something to read and takes you to new places in ur imagination. but it also leads you to new men who either you meant face to face or some big boob smack to the face.

You've joined the 141 a little more than a year ago. Being one of the few females on the team never was a struggle for you, but you always had trouble to create a real bond with the other members. After you thought you've found your place, bonding with one of the newer members, everything went south and it was your time to make everything right again.
