It's the most simple word, with so much power

This is my first-ever intentional oneshot. Based on the sixth Harry Potter film, Half Blood Prince. this is Draco Malfoy's perspective on what happened to the canary after he transported her in the Vanishing Cabinet. Note: I tried my best to make this short and sweet, without my usual wordiness and over-description. Just keep that in mind if you're looking for long paragraphs with lots of adjectives and imagery. There's some, but not too much. Read if you want to - and thanks!

I don't really know what to put here? This is just going to be some poetry of mine and letters to people who might never see them. Some sad, some happy, some might need TWs/CWs, some about me, and some about the wreck I call my love life. Maybe some short stories too, who knows. I just want people to know that not all thoughts are pretty and that's fine. Some are messy and complicated, some come out as a string of jumbled words, some can be hard to let out but are welcomed when they do, some can be the biggest secret we've kept and in letting it out we can be letting out a part of ourselves. Let out the thoughts you feel should be let out; that's what I'm doing. Pretty wording doesn't make the thoughts any less ugly but it does make for a wonderful way to cope. I hope whoever decides to read this mess enjoys it or finds comfort in it. <3

This is a new type of genre that I like to call "simplistic fiction" (I'll have to come up with a new name later). It's always been around, but I don't think it's ever been given a name. Basically, it's a story about an extremely small and seemingly insignificant occurrence that can have a huge story behind it. This story examines how little we know about people we're right next to.
