It is 1939, the great World War 2 has begun. Margaret Anselm is a German 17-year-old girl living in the streets of Berlin with her brother, Dirk, and her mother and father. As the war begins and the German Nazis take over, Dirk and his father are taken away to fight in the battlefield, Margaret and her mother stick together and try weld the house with the hole of the two boys gone. But soon after, there is an incident with Anneliese, Margaret's mother. What will Margaret do in this situation, she is alone and weak, or at least that is what she is under the impression of.

Katherine, a first-generation Filipino-American, welcomes a special visitor to her Christmas Eve dinner party. Can she pull it off despite chaotic and unexpected events threatening to derail the carefully planned event? This is a tongue-in-cheek journey where you'll encounter the four Fs of Filipino culture: Family, Faith, Food, and Frank Sinatra.
