After a past she cannot escape, Koharu Kawasaki leaves Japan behind. Once known for her cruel behavior and the mistakes she made in school, she chooses exile over shame, boarding a lonely flight to Indonesia with nothing but a suitcase, a few savings, and the fragile hope that people who do not know her might give her another chance. Jakarta greets her with chaos-crowded streets, endless traffic, unfamiliar language, and days of rejection. One job application after another ends in disappointment. Yet Koharu refuses to return to the person she once was. Determined to change, she continues searching until she finally finds work training as a waitress at a small café. There she meets Titan, a tall and quiet young man with a complicated past of his own. Beneath his calm demeanor lies the burden of mistakes he deeply regrets-conflicts with dangerous people and a reputation that makes others wary of him. Like Koharu, Titan is trying to rebuild his life piece by piece. During their training breaks, simple moments begin to connect them: sharing lunch, awkward conversations about Japan and Indonesia, and laughter over unfamiliar foods like Kentary Fried Chicken. Slowly, the two strangers discover something unexpected in each other-understanding. Both of them are fugitives from their former selves. Both carry guilt. And both want the same thing: a chance to become better people. As Koharu adjusts to life in Jakarta and Titan struggles with the shadows of his past-including the mysterious Sun Mark Clan that still haunts his family-their friendship grows into something deeper. But redemption is never easy, and the past has a way of following those who try to run from it. In a city that never stops moving, Koharu and Titan must decide whether they will remain prisoners of their mistakes-or fight for the future they dream of. Two broken pasts. One fragile beginning. And a second chance at life.
