But their practical work is a race across history - fending off the Extractors, cosmic entities trying to drain all Value from reality. Each Leak sealed brings them a little closer. But it might not be enough to tip the scales of the Last Battle at the Singularity, where Tian's people are losing. --- This is a test to gauge interest - I've seen nothing like it on platforms. Target rhythm is one chapter per week, but nothing more will be posted before September unless there's demand.
