Beth is anything but your run of the mill consultant from her Gothic clothing to her unusual methods of gathering evidence. Though not everything is as it seems as more bodies are found and the police's main suspect is a crazy loon. When reality is no longer a single truth, it is fractured.

It has been a few years since Castrair, Ausar and Siris have been missing. Now, a guild of treasure hunters calling themselves the Swords of the Forgotten have started looking for the treasure that Ausar had hoarded over the 8 years of his reign. And they will do anything for it. Even try to find the last Deathless to get the information out of them. And the last Deathless is Castrair. Or Ausar. Who'll never agree to this. But the guild doesn't know that.

There's no time like now. We forget the past, and we move on. We look toward the future. So how can one event completely change someone's life?
