10 years after the fall of Camelot at the hands of Morgan le Fay, a de-aged Merlin sets off on a quest to locate the lost heir to the throne, Arthur, after he'd cast a spell rendering him untraceable. Seeing a vision of the future, Merlin must find four boys with promise of being Arthur and train them to take a shot at pulling Uther Pendragon's blade and reclaiming their birthright. Which one of them will be the Once and Future King? ..... This is my first ever attempt at publishing a personal project online. I've been watching Merlin again and I've decided to write some one shots, some might have two parts.

In a time of myth and legend the once and future King was said to rise again. Now he is back and Arthur and Merlin must once more fight together you save Avalon and bring it back to its former glory

Straight away Robin feels something for Merlin and realises that there is something incredibly special about Merlin.

Shadow was next in line to protect them, and he has been training for years to protect them at all costs. But, tragedy soon struck the kingdom, and Shadow and his brother, Silver, are forced to flee and go into hiding. Find out what happens in the story.
