Mary is a 16 year old girl who feels like the weight of the world is crashing down on her, between boys rejecting her, bullies, parents who don't seem to care, all she looks forward to is playing guitar and video games. After a disease mutation starts bringing the dead back to life on the other side of America, she continues with her life and doesn't expect the epidemic to get out of control.
