Heir to the throne of the vampire kingdom, Ashley, stumbles across a mortal human being. She finds that this mortal being seems to be hiding a lot more than she is letting off and so Ashley decides to follow her home. The curious vampire soon discovers more than she was expecting. She realises that this human, Taylor Edwards, has quite a bad life at home. After some stalking and watching this girl, Ashley decides that Taylor doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. Ashley suffered similar treatment when she was young herself and so figures that this teenager needs her help. Of course, her situation was not identical to Taylor's as she is a vampire and Taylor is a mortal human being but she still wants to help out. But how is Ashley going to do this?
