I, Anna, was just a normal 12 year old girl, well aside from the fact I have cancer. I guess I can't say I'm normal, my mother is a one-eye crazy tulip lady in love with the Dutch Tulip Man. My father I don't know much about, he hated my mother and me so he left. As for my pet hamster Sisyphus well he just likes to run on his wheel in his cage. I don't live a normal life but I surely do live a life that's normal to me.

The juniors of Sparrows Thrice High aren't used to being role models. Sam's a stoner. James cuts class. Liana failed her college assessments. Audrey isn't even a student, she dropped out last year! Angst ridden, lust driven, binge drinking teens... what's the worst that could happen if they got superpowers? We Are Sisyphus is a coming-of-age novel with absolutely no ominous undertones. Look through the eyes of seven wayward teenagers, each colliding into each other's story until the consequences of their actions become too much for the world to bear. Along the way, they'll discover the power of friendship, slog through the horrors of the war, and unearth a secret that will bring about the end of the world, and there's nothing we can do to stop it :)

one must imagine Sisyphus happy.. (This is my fan writing about Sisyphus, I advise you to read before reading and find out who it is) I wrote this story because I suddenly felt sad about Sisyphus, the Olympian gods spare no one. I also have no experience in writing stories, this is my first story, so just know that I'm new to this. (and I also don't know English completely, so in cases of inconsistencies, don't pay too much attention, I'm learning, even this story I'm not writing myself, but with the help of a translator and other sources, good luck)

Ever since Sisyphus began pushing the boulder, I had been on the other side pushing it back down. I was born to torture him. For eons I had done this job while being hidden behind the boulder, making sure Sisyphus would never know of my presence. Until today. Hi, So this is based off of a reddit post (I sadly do not remember the OP's name) and the post suggested what if there was just some guy behind the boulder pushing it down. I liked this idea so I made it into a thriller-mystery short story. I hope you find this interesting Also what made me write this story was the monologue in the third last paragraph. I wrote that first and built my story around it. Please tell me if there's something awkward about the format because something about it feels off to me and I can't tell if it's just me or I did something wrong😭 And the cover template for this was made by Hey Jai studio on Canva :) P.S I couldn't think of a good name for this story and my friend suggested 'Sisyphus' because it would be 'straight to the point very dominant and statementπŸ’―' So uh lmk if you got a better title or if you agree with themπŸ’€

I've spent my old days making up pretty stories. I was a sailor navigating the oceans of sorrow of a heartbreak; stranger tales tells the reader about sorrows turned into poetry and how those experiences change my perspective of seeing love. In my conclusion love it's the most violent act I've seen in my short life;now I must live in sentimental years and sentimental years in order to survive and continue my travel. But we must understand that a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor. "One must imagine Sisyphus happy." -Albert Camus
