"Tu zidd bahut karti hai." He gathered the sweets together and pushed them toward her. "Achha chal, ye saari rakh le. Mere ghar mein bahut hain. Main aur Baba toh tere liye hi lekar aaye the, Sita." She looked at him suspiciously. "Sachhi?" Raman nodded, trying not to smile. "Main toh bas chidha raha tha." Sita's little face brightened. "Sachi mein na... phir wapas toh nahi loge na?" Raman smiled. "Arey baba, nahi loonga. Teri kasam." And finally, Sita smiled. A small, innocent smile. Neither of them knew that this silly little fight over a box of sweets would become one of the countless memories tying their lives together.
