I finally opened my eyes to see a dark room and then I noticed a weird musty smell. "Was this smell here before? Wait so has it really been a millennium since I last cleaned my room?" I asked while trying to open my eyes fully. This was not my room. "THE HOLY COW!! WHERE AM I?" Let me describe what I had seen next. There were cobwebs everywhere and red hanging curtains around the bed. There were gold and silver instruments all around me and the bed I was on was really posh. After relaxing for a moment I said "Okay I may or may not be in a drug dealer's tavern." DISCONTINUED

"Then I'll see your face I know I'm finally yours; I find everything I thought I lost before; You call my name I come to you in pieces So you can make me whole..." 'MUSIC IS FOR LIFE', they say. WHAT ABOUT THE AFTERLIFE? Daniyal Hasan, 19, is nowhere near redemption. Born to a Pakistani father and a convert Irish mother, he has strange blood flowing in his veins. He drinks, parties when there's money in his pockets, is into sleeping around and often occurring club brawls. Since his mom died when he was 10, the only family he has left is his father, who is, ironically, never there for him. His life is hell ever since his father re-married a British woman, who is only after his million pounds Financial Solutions firm. His guitar is his sole solace. Having a gifted voice, he distracts himself (ironically) from his life by singing in shady bars, doing small gigs here and there and earning some cash along the way. Who knows when that dad of his goes bonkers again?! ❣ Hidayah Ali, a decidedly pretty Indian girl, has recently come to St. Patricks High, Manchester as an exchange program student. Coming from a typical, Indian middle-class family, making a grand career is uppermost in her mind. She tries to hold firm to her religion, keyword being 'try', and has a veil on when in public. But like our hero, she isn't perfect either. Even though she knows it's haram, she has a weak spot for music; sitar and piano being her favorite instruments. She even sings a bit to her sister and friend, promising to leave everything after high school. Will the two ever get out of this vortex of sins and find a place in their hearts for each other? Read on to find out... Cover credits: soundthealarm

A first-person, self-insert, fanfiction-style story; It spans from the start of the life of Y/N to the present day, and deepdives into the complex emotional turmoil of the band of "The Beatles" and society norms of what many would call the golden decades of the world in music and media. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Y/N is portrayed throughout the story as female-presenting with she/her pronouns. This story also covers mature themes, like romance, abusive relationships, and body-image. I want it to not only be a dramatic, juicy story of a girl who wanted to Rock and Roll with a group of guys, but also to create commentary on society when it comes to fame. I want it to make you think once the story starts progressing. Additionally, I did try to make all events chronological and canon to real life, but I did take a good amount of creative liberties when writing plotlines.
