Taken from her home as a child and forged into a weapon by Count Dooku, Syn Daari has spent most of her life in the shadows of the Sith. "Lady Tano." "Lord Maul." Darth Maul and Ahsoka Tano share one of the most tragic, complex rivalries in Star Wars. Both former prodigies-one to the Sith, the other to the Jedi-they were ultimately cast out by their respective orders, making them ideological mirrors of each other. On the surface, Maul and Ahsoka seem like polar opposites, but in actuality, they have remarkably similar arcs: Both Maul and Ahsoka were taken from their home worlds to become part of an order. Ahsoka to the Jedi and Maul to the Sith. They were trained in the ways of said orders and ultimately rejected by the very groups to which they dedicated their lives. After their rejection, they take the same path. Both do not abandon the ideals of their order, Ahsoka tries to continue to fight for good using the force, and Maul continues to use hate to exact revenge and gain power. HOWEVER, as much as Ahsoka wants to keep her thoughts positive on the Jedi Order, telling herself they only did what they thought was best, they wouldn't have done it if they didn't think they had to, and deep down they knew she didn't do it, shes now beginning to struggle. She had given her entire life to the Order, and they cast her out at the suspicion she might have committed a crime. She proved her loyalty and it meant nothing, as they didn't believe her. She's on the run from the same Order she gave her life to. Then she meets someone who is facing the same type of pain, and she can't help but relate. So when he asks her to join him, she hesitates. Although the Jedi in her screams no, the other part of her mind, the wounded one, can't help but consider it... As awful scars, both physical and mental, resurface of the Council, as well as from the sith, both outcasts find comfort in the other. In addition, the Galactic Republic was reorganised into the First Galactic Empire, and Chancellor Palpatine, who is actually the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, establishes himself as Emperor, putting an end to democracy and creating a new era of fear, corruption and tyranny that would last over a decade. Unknown to Palpatine, one large squadron of Battle Droids was able to resist the shutdown signal. In the possibility that Palpatine would betray him, Count Dooku instructed his secret apprentice, Jack Trevelyan, to oversee a contingency plan, to reconstruct the Droid Army. Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Virmire, located in the Unknown Regions. Jack had his Tactical Droid, Kraken, oversee the reproduction of the Droid Army and enters cryo-stasis to preserve his youth, reawakening once the time comes. In time, the Confederacy of Independent Systems will return to resume its original purpose: free the Galaxy from the corruption of the Republic, now the Empire. A lot have changed since General Nawaam's defeat at the hands of the New Jedi Order. The Galaxy is fragmented in several factions, the Republic, the Blagg Empire, while Nawaam's territory was contested by the Praxeum and the Remnant. It will be up to Lah Kara to find balance in the Galaxy by seeking out the enigmatic Sith known as The Beast, a man strong in the Force, leader of the Praxeum, who was responsible of completing Nawaam's training. Besides that, the Order has to deal with Darth Alberich, a powerful traditionalist Sith Lord, leader of the Remnant with the desire of conquering the Galaxy.
