But she decides that her smart mind and curiosity must be brought out for something other than her next steps in life when her brother tells her more than she could have ever imagined about when he was kidnapped for four years. All the horrors that that horrible man had done to her brother, and he still got away. 'Fled the country' was what the police and news said. He was never even found. Her brother never got justice. The air around the two of them became heated as they both knew the situation would soon escalate into something much more than kissing. But neither of them stopped. He didn't think anything of most the people that walked in the door, except for Brynleigh Pasternack. She was a regular customer at the bar and they had become good friends over the time of her going there.
