Nina Zenik had permanently found a spot in the gang, and Wylan Van Eck and Jesper Fahey were rising merchants in Ketterdam. All was good until troubling news landed at their doorstep. Alina Starkov had been kidnapped. Mastermind, Kaz Brekker had a proposal on how to rescue the Saint, but that's not all he has planned...

Stories of our favorite gangster crew, pre-canon, during Canon and post-canon. Mostly Kaz-centric, but also Kanej, Wesper and Helnik. A lot of canon-typical violence, PTSD, hurt/comfort and character growth. And hopefully the occasionally sequence of them acting their damn age and just fluffy interaction.

Three years came and went, and Ketterdam is gradually repairing itself from the damage caused by the infamous Kaz Brekker, also known as the bastard of the Barrel or Dirtyhands. Wylan Van Eck and Jesper Fahey are in a close relationship and living in a house that previously belonged to Jan Van Eck, a jailed mercher and Wylan's father. Nina Zenik is living an exciting life in Ravka with her fellow Grisha and Inej Ghafa lives a free life on her vessel, the Wraith, and hunts slavers. The five of these criminals' paths merged to bring havoc to Ketterdam and have since lead them in many different directions. Despite the recovering city's best efforts, something is brewing once again in Kerch that will bring these theives, thugs, and soldiers together once again. These characters do not belong to me, nor does the story, settings, and ideas presented. The front cover and any other art in this story are mine. Talhia Brekker is the daughter of Kaz Brekker, and gets every benefit that comes along with her father's role in Ketterdam. Idea credit to @vintage.lego.set on TikTok. The Crows (Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse) Modern AU have to go to IKEA to furnish their apartment. The bizarre store poses a problem for the gang, who promptly get lost, abuse the displays, fail to make simple decisions and financial transactions, and, of course, enjoy the in-store cafe. TL;DR: The Crows can break into the world's most secure building but cannot navigate an IKEA. I'm a writer, and this is just a fun little lighthearted AU. It does not contain spoilers, but you wouldn't really experience it without having read the Six of Crows duology :)
