This story follows Riley Hartwell, she is a 48 year old Florist who lives by herself in a cozy lodge in the woods, she will eventually find Cassidy, a lonely sub-species of cat that is not much bigger than a soda can, and is unfortunately missing her legs, making things a thousand times harder, for most people. Cassidy's arms are very strong and let her walk easily all on her own.

When 18 year old Alex and his family move from California to new York,he doesn't expect to find his mate,especially not in the basement of his new home. When Alex walks into the tiny closet in the basement after he smells something amazing, he sees a tiny little wolf curled up in the corner. He brings him to his mother,allyss,and she says that Will( the little wolf) shows signs of being sexually abused and physically abused. When a large male walks into his room,Will knows what to expect. Instead they don't start hurting him, they bring him upstairs!

After becoming closer to Chiyo one night, Sakaki shrinks to the size of Chiyo's hand. This is an alternate scenario after the scene where Chiyo says that Sakaki was "very cute" playing with Maya and that the cat probably thought of her as his mother.
